Installing game on D:\ problem (+rep for help)

I have like 3TB on my D:\ disk and when i select D:\, that i want install game on it, it says: New Steam library folder can't be drive root.
What does it mean, how can i install this on it?

It means you're trying to install it to the root.

you can not create a steam library on the root of a drive.

create a new folder on the drive and add that folder as a new steam library path.

Go to the /D drive, click New Folder, and name it 'Steam Games' or something. Then when installing the game, change the location to the new folder you made.

http://i.imgur.com/naRMkFz.png set it like this, click new folder button, press ok, and after that you select that folder and click select.

creating directories is the very basics of using a computer. don't tell me you never did that.
