A couple of days ago (11 August) I pre-ordered Mafia 3 by accident and i refunded the same day,and now it's been like 5 days and my money is not back in my account, someone can explain the system to me ?

Refunds to your Steam wallet can take up to 7 days. Refunds outside Steam can take up to 10 business days.

i have the same problem i refunded No mans sky and still i dont have the money its been 5 days already

Refunds to your steam wallet are usually complete withing 2 or 3 days, but when you refund to an outside form of payment, it usually takes about a 5 - 10 Business days. They're good about refunding though, so just be patient.

I've heard refunds to international payment methods can take up to 14 days.

refunds within the same day are usually not refunded(a.k.a. the money send back to you), they have their authorization canceled. meaning, you will not see a deduction on your financial account anymore. but this process can take up to 10 days.

So after this process i'm gonna get my money back in my account or i will need to contact the bank to release my funds ?

Guys, why don't you read the refund confirmation email? It clearly says how long it can take.

The thing is I got a little scared, when a guy said he waited one month for his money to go back is his account.

That would be a good idea. If they don't see a transaction, let them give you detailed information and then send those to Steam Support.
