If it is custom built, post the exact motherboard that you have.
It is a custom built, my motherboard is a gigabyte z170XP SLI motherboard
In any case, did you download and install the latest drivers from here...if I have the correct board that is ?
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5496#dl
That is the revision 1.0 board, so check that please. Windows 10 64 bit in the drop menu there and keeping "driver" in the other. Then, select "BIOS" and that operating system and read the BIOS updates also to see if that can maybe help but do the drivers first.
You need them all, but the first one is the audio driver.
And no i did not install any of the latest drivers, and yes it is the correct board.
How do you get to the drop menu? Im sorry, i dont really know everything about tech, just about building them. Im kind of new.
Thanks for the help
I have the hardware boxes and manuals, yes. I will look at the motherboards manual now.
But seriously, thanks for the reply and for following suggestions here that seem to have helped you.
Yes they helped me very much! Thanks you for finding me and i am very happy that i can hear now!
