I just fail to see a reason why would it be considered harmful or be taken down.
As for blasphemy[www.merriam-webster.com], I do not think that is reportable in and of itself.

If that god exists I am quite sure he can deal with it. The problem with blasphemy is that there is no hard rule as to what is and what is not blasphemy. One mans innocent comment is another mans unforgivable blasphemy. Where to draw the line?
Insulting a deity, that is always a case of taking insult on behalf of someone else. I don't think any god would need to be defended.
Because religion is personal. Your belief does not necessarily correspond to the belief of the majority of Valve employees and it surely is not that of the majority of Steam users. Steam treats all religions equal - they all should stay away. If you read the guidelines and rules religion is up there with politics as a taboo topic.
I anything which hurts the feelings of someone who stumples upon it would be removed, user generated content would be a barren wasteland.
