doesnt help all the methods need an SMS message code
Contacting Steam support should help you out, if you already have then im not sure what you could do. I'm sorry.
already did they said open up a discussion in tips and help :(
You could try to conect the phone company that you were using and see if they can set up some kind of SMS redirect to your phone for any recent messages and then quickly remove the number from your account. I don't know if that will work or not but there is not much that you can do.
you basicly lost your phone, since you dumpstered the number.
-
get access to the old number from mobile provider to receive that sms to remove the number from your steam account
-or-
contact steam support and provide proof of ownership for your steam account and they will do it for you.
how do you provide proof of ownership?
