How do I change the birth date?

How do I change the birth date for when it asks for your birth date for a game, e.g. Skyrim.

Can you please walk me through this? I've tried before but it doesn't do anything. Do I just simply exit steam and reopen it? Otherwise I don't see any other options or settings to.

You exit Steam and then reopen it.

That's it? Because even when I do that it will one day ask for my birth date again, and I'll enter the wrong one that is put on my account, and it'll let me through to the game I wanna look at.

No, I have the wrong age set, and I need to change it. For the age checked games, I'll just enter the wrong date that I have set, and it will let me past, but I want to change it incase I forget the wrong date.

As long as you enter a date that says you're over 18 it doesn't matter.

I know that, but I'm trying to change the birth date that I enter into the thing that asks you for your birth date. I have it set to something wrong, and I'd like to change that birth date to my real birth date because I have the wrong date put in. That way when it asks for my birth date, I can put in the right birth date. Can't you do that?

Also if you don't know how to restart steam you shouldn't go to 18+ parts of steam...

How is everyone here finding it so difficult to understand what hes asking for? He's asking how he changes his Date of birth on his steam account, not how to re-input the age on a selected game. Is reading really that difficult for some people?
