Has the GIFT option in the inventory been removed?
I simply can't gift any of my over 1000 Dota 2, CS:GO and Team Fortress 2 items, even the ones that clrearly read "this item can be gifted once". The only items in my inventory that have the GIFT option are "Steam Community Beta Acess" and "Steam Trading Card Beta", other than those absolutely none have it. There's something wrong because I've used to gift regular items with ease and now that option is no longer there, did Steam just remove it or what?

Have you tried gifting the items in-game?

I don't think anything besides game gifts is giftable. If they are tradabe, you can send them via trade offer

most of the items were never giftable, especially csgo and for the other 2 games i guess that is limited to in-store items as it ever was.

also, bumping, nonono.

I'm pretty sure I used to do it via Steam inventory, there's no gift option in the new Dota 2 client unless it's pretty damn well hidden.

Dota 2 used to have drop items that still read "can be gifted once", and even those can't so that's weird. Also, anything I purchase from the store should be giftable, at least after the trade hold expires. There's not even an option to purchase a market item as gift.

Sorry for bumping but I believe this is a bug or something, and I really need to send it today.

You can gift but in-game... you go to your armory and right click on any tradeable "giftable" lol..item and choos gift wrap this item and it should bring you up to a friends list ..hope this helps..

the gift item option is not gone you can only gift those items which are giftable or you have not access your steam guard thats why
