Community ratings are very random, simply becuse users can just choose either one of the rating option.
I've seen "troll reviews" with hundreds of rating showing it as "helpful".
I suppose if your review is full of inaccuracies then it could be, but otherwise....no.
Its a compliment.
-- If you did not know then i gonna tell and maybe it make some sense for you . I notice many game who " actively " work against negative articles " always " have much " fun review " and the worst of them has 50/50 and i have read a lot of them and to be " very very honest with you " none of them was funny " not a single one was hilarious mate " so now you might figure out way your negative post almost always are funny and that never ever gonna change mate.
-- The good news is : we have some serious game out there who do what they can to fix the game on the best way to make everyone happy and if they can`t then they admit it and keep on and work with what they are able to fix.
On these community they know to handle negative response on a positive way "all respect for that mate "and as we know these game community have very very few funny reviews and sometime zero mate.
-- When i read negative reviews before i buy a game who have much fun vote mate then i know who have place them there to cover up flaws in the game by ridicule the negative post because none of these negative post was funny and that we all know and when we know that then we give everyone positive reviews.
My advice to you mate just don`t care about it and keep on with your negative post and this way we all know which issue - error - flaws the game contains and i am sure we all appreciate it.
Proper friends do not make fun of each other on a bad way, keep up your good work and have a very happy day Mate.

-- One more important thing mate , make sure nobody is able to make a comment on your negative reviews ever because those fight may harm you more then you know.
I guess you know that but you are able to decide if people can make a comment on your game reviews , i personally always prefer to turn that oportunity of either it is positive or negative game reviews.
-- Another advice you may give a thought about : never ever take a fight with the game community who defend the game under any circumstances and not the developer either because developer don`t have any rules to follow as us gamer.
Basically they can and they are able to ban anybody they dont like and they don`tt need any reason to do that at all.
If they ban you then the you need to know Steam can`t help you under any circumstances and that game do not gonna change the decision never ever because they don`t have rules they need to follow very sad but true.
Always " act politely as you can " on negative post in the game community and if you experiencing hard resistance with special people ( i name them defender of the game ) then just back out and forget your post before you get banned because people who defend the game " can say everything they feel for in the most degrading way " to get you in imbalance and then the developer hit you with a ban and not them who defend the game.
If you keep up and been politely as you can then the developer still gonna ban you to stop your negative post on the game community and then they gonna say to you : you should never continue this debate and by doing that it was you who encouraged the others so to next time remember to not answer other people who is rude to you.
If you report these people first then the developer of the game gonna say : we take care of that and don`t answer them in the future and now all these defender gonna hit every post you have make and destroy them and it is nothing you can do about it and that is the fact.
Well not all game community is rotten but that you never know before it is too late so walk careful out there in the wilderness.

You gave Counter-Strike Source a negative review and said "Runs fine, but I'm only concerned about mounting Counter Strike: Source content to Garry's Mod." That doesn't even make sense. You said CSS is fine and then gave it a negative review because you don't know how to use Garry's Mod, a completely different game?
but i dunno how 2-3 votes on every review could lead to the question
