Annoying blue circle while playing games
While I play games, even on non-Steam ones, I got this very annoying blue circle.
If I take a screenshot the blue circle does not appear, so I strongly believe it is related to a software that triggers when I play games...maybe Nvidia-like.
This pic taken with my smartphone loading Elder Scrolls Online:

I really have no idea what is it and above all how to get rid of it.
Could you help me please?
Thank you

Is it a tablet pc? You can disable it in settings.

i've seen that a few days ago with 2 arrows in it. if it does not appear on screenshots it is an overlay.

Any suggestions?

start a game where this happens and look in taskmanager which processes are active.

Ok, I'll try it. Thanks.
Maybe could be very helpful. I just discovered that I got the same blue circle in the nvidia adjust image settings preview!

I am pretty sure is related to the graphic card.

the preview picture is an actual render. basicly a small game and i am pretty sure nvidia would not make the mistake and put an overlay on that preview. so with this, you can exclude stuff from nvidia.

Ok. I upgraded the Nvidia driver and the problem apparentely was solved. I took a look at the nvidia adjust image settings preview and the annoying blue circle was not there. But, unfortunetely, when I started playing a game...it appeared again!
In the task manager there is no new process related to this trouble.
No idea...

Oh that! Yea I really couldn't tell what it was from the OP's picture; yes that is a feature with some audio card software; providing a visual overlay for positional sound awareness. It's a simple software features u disable, easy as that.

Yes, for completeness there is the FAQ on the website to disable this feature :)

Did anyone ever solve this? This is happening to me as well on Left 4 Dead 2 and I'm completely stuck. I don't have this sound tracker that you mentioned so I doubt that's what is causing the problem. Here is a screenshot.
