No, you're not eligible for a refund on Steam.

I don't know, you should contact them.
I had paypal contact them, but I am "waiting for a response" I just know some gamers on steam have been through this process and could enlighten me to the ending.
lol you just did a chargeback, be prepared to have your account flagged for fraudulent use.

a chargeback? I'm unfamiliar with that term and how is that fraudulent? I was sold a broken item and I'd like a refund? If anyoner is frauding anyone it would be them lieing selling me an item then not giving it to me.

I just tried to get the ball rolling. I've done refunds with paypal before for digital goods and they were successful but it took like 3 weeks. Never for indiegogo though. I was hoping someone else would have an experience to share.
guess you should have asked in the right place. Lets simplify it for you since you don't seem very educated.

You have just told paypal that the trasnaction was fraudulent. They will send that to indiegala, who will revoke the key, which will remove it from steam telling them it was purchased fraudulently.

Congrats, you've just outed yourself as a fraud by not using the appropriate refund options available at indiegala.

That being said, with how many people are currently playing the game (guardians of ember) you'd have a hard time selling anyone on THEM being the frauds. Your inability to operate a computer (down to even being able to read what you are doing before submitting a dispute, or doing even a basic google search) is now going to risk your entire steam account.

you can only get a refund from the store you purchased it, like everywhere else. target and visa do also not refund you stuff that you bought at walmart. so asking steam and paypal does not work.
if you opened a dispute on paypal in order to get a refund that is close to committing fraud. that option is for non-authorized charges and you already stated here that you paid for it, so it was authorized.

which brings me to this...

that is probably the game

and to that:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/guardians-of-ember-fantasy#/

and as you can clearly see, the game is still in development and
you paid for funding the development on indiegogo, not for receiving a playable game right after you paid. you can play the game now because they gave you a steam key which gives you access to a version of the game for testing purposes.

if you do not understand this concept, i recommend you to stay away from the words "early access", "indiegogo", "kickstarter" and in general "crowfunding"
Wow, you are very mean LOL kind of makes me sad for you, must be some deep pain from your childhood. I don't believe what you say though. They delievered the product "not as described" https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/How-to-use-PayPal-Archive/CHARGEBACK-SCAM-SELLERS-BEWARE/td-p/27035 If you are not going to be helpful then your posts are off topic, find someone else to troll because you aren't going to hurt my feelings. As a professional counselor,l I cannot legally counsel you to mental health. My Masters degree uneducated self is done with this comment ROFL you are comical though thanks for the laugh

I have 500+ hours on Otherland, I don't mind indie games. But not being able to login should be a priority over gameplay hotfixes imho

Aww muffin, you are going to have to try a lot harder to be insulting if you really think that's going to cut it.

I am seriously sorry for whatever education system spit you out that poorly prepared for reality.

I suggest you actually read the terms of sale in the future, Indiegogo DID provide you with exactly what you were promised upon delivery. Your failure to understand what that was is no ones problem but your own. Enjoy your account suspension, no one will feel sorry for you.

Well that's the thing, I'm not mean like you and my intent was not to hurt you nor any other responders, unlike some of my commenters lol.

I was just stating a fact that you must have deep pain to feel the need to lash out at others and attempt to hurt their feelings. Otherwise why are you wasting your time? just to troll, trolls need counseling because they are broken people and that is sad.
You really need to stop projecting. I gave you a list of facts, if those facts are so terrible that they make you feel bad, that is your problem, not mine.
I knew it was a risk and I'm not so broke that a lack of $42 will break my bank (which gets wasted at a simple dinner outting, it's nothing big). I am also well rounded enough where I can find other things to entertain myself is steam does in fact temporarily suspend (or really even if it was permanent) my account but I sincerely doubt that will happen. Thanks for the facts bud, go back to your oh so dull life of trolling.
