How safe is the Steam Web API Key?

If I shared my Steam Web API Key, how far could anyone go with the key alone?

Pretty far, i.e. controlling your trades. Theres no legit reason to share it.

You agree to keep your Steam Web API key confidential, and not to share it with any third party. This license is personal to you and specific to your Application.

You agree that you will be personally responsible for the use of your Steam Web API key.

I specifically LOVE how users never read certain terms.
