Trade Ban from cancelling trade offers

I was recently put on trade ban because I cancelled on a pending trade. I couldn't find online anywhere how long the ban actually was. I managed to work out how long my trade ban was and I hope that this helps some of you whop experience the same problem as me.

To find out for long the trade ban is go to help in the top left can corner of the screen then:
Home > Trading, Gifting, Items, Community Market > Trading > I want to understand why I'm not allowed to trade.

There will be a timer there indicating how long your ban is going to last for.

It's not a trade "ban". If an account is actually trade banned, it is displayed on their profile in red text :

"Currently trade banned".

This is a restriction.

Trades that are on hold have been accepted by both parties and will complete by the date specified on each trade offer. If you did not make these trades or wish to cancel them, you can do so by cancelling all outstanding trades (both those on hold and pending). Cancelling outstanding trades will begin a 7 day trade cooldown.

Literally right above the button you clicked to cancel the holds.
