GETTING STEAM CARDS WITHOUT PLAYING THE GAME
Over the past 3 or so weeks iv gotten radnom trading cards from games i own but have not been playing or played in awhile, is this something new?

I dont think anything nefarious is going on , Im guessing there is some sort of card dump from games you havent played much or inawhile but never gave any card drops. I think ....

Just found this posted in another thread


Games that previously didn't have cards but have since added them or games that have expanded the size of their card deck grant card drops retroactively based on your play time as of a recent Steam update.

Me too, and now workshop is down, I think steam is doing prep work for sales getting everything ready and they are doing other things by accident/
