No support and unable to upgrade a game to ultimate edition

Hello, i am having trouble buying the ultimate edition of assetto corsa. It warns me i already have the base game which i have but i can press continue but when i press buy for myself its says i am unable it since i already own the base game. tried to remove so i could buy the ultimate edition with all the dlc's, but it then it says i already owned it and removed it. I am unable to find a way to contact steam for support on this this issue which anoys me. i want the ultimate edition while it is on sale for 90 procent off. and refuse to pay more for all the download packs sepperately.

How a Developer sets up bundles is entirely their choice, Steam can do nothing about how a Developer may set a requirement for bundles or their discounts. You're grossly overestimating Steam; they're merely the store shelf, the Developer controls prices and bundle prices/discounts.

no need to contact Steam as they have nothing to do with the pricing/discounts or how a store page is set up.

the owner of this product does not want you to buy the ultimate edition if you already own anything from it. they set it up like that, it is not an error.

Help > Steam Support > Purchases > I can't complete my purchase on the Steam Store > Game or other software > type and choose Assetto Corsa

Explain the situation and they'll help you out. If the base game needs to be removed they can properly do it in a way not available to users.

It's because that Ultimate Edition bundle is set as a "Must Purchase Together" package. If you already own any individual part within that package, then Steam will not allow you to purchase it. This is different from other typical bundles that you find that are "Complete The Set" type.

You'll either have to add each individual part of the bundle to your cart separately, or you can find a key, like ElvisDeadly refers to, on a trusted 3rd party reseller site and activate it.
