Unable to link twitch account

I’ve been trying to connect my twitch account to my steam account but I keep getting a connection failed error 500. I haven’t been able to find a way to fix this problem any help would be appreciated.

Been an issue for a week. Must go to Twitch and tell them to update their openID settings.

Yeh I’ve tried to contact twitch support but have heard nothing back from them, so I thought I would try here.

They have to resolve it on their end. Nothing anyone here or at Valve can do.

if you are not in their inner circle partnership program for big cashcows or draw negative social media attention, twitch support response times are easily a week.

Alright, well I appreciate the feedback. Guess I’ll be waiting for Twitch to figure things out then.

My steam connecting doesn't work, but I successfully connected to my blizzard account so I don't think it's an issue with twitch

The issue is Steam but Steam can't fix it. Steamcommunity.com changed to https from http so twitch needs to change and add the missing letters here and there because Steam will not change back.

This happened to every single site that used Steam to log in and they all had to change it, it's just that twitch haven't yet so it stays broken.

Same here. Just unlinked my Twitch account from my Curator page because the numbers weren't updating and now I cannot relink it. Also getting the Failure (2) error -.-
