Vanilla prepaid card
Hi there guys

I recently got a 25 dollar vanilla prepaid Mastercard but I cannot use it. I just got it today and I verified the postal code but it will not let me use it. Do I have to wait 24 hours before funds are available?

What message do you see that tells you that you cannot use the card or how is it that you know you cannot use it ?

In other words, how will "it not let you use it" ?

If you can post the exact and full wording of the message, that might help us search around better, unless you tried that.

It "sounds" like as you said..........they are simply on hold and when verified, the hold will go away and the funds will be available, just from what we know so far that has been posted.

Sounds like you should do what the message says first, and check with the source of where you got the card. Make sure it is not as said, that funds were not placed on hold by that source.

Search the linked results I posted above for that exact error message, and you might find someone that this has happened to before that can maybe give clues as to what you need to do or what to expect.

its been over 24 hours now and i tried again and it once again failed to work. I am pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pissed now that i have a new damn card and ive done everything required for it to work and it still wont do ♥♥♥♥

You ALWAYS go to the place of purchase when you buy something awry.

They said the activation went through fine. I called the card company over the phone and they said everything is working on the card
