i deleted steam and did quick scan did not found anything. but when i download steam it finds virus

tip:
uninstall mcafee
install malwarebytes of eset or ... something not that at least. Or just use windows defender and common sense.

avast has issues if not handled properly.
mcafee is adware (and prevents you from internetting unless you pay)
norton is a money hound software suite with a buildin cryptominer for their convenience.
panda is a resource eater
(most of those advertised antivirus software suits are like that unfortunately)
AVG... eats ram and is late with new virus detection updates, but at least not a begger for money
e.e;'hm...

good antivirusses are hard to come by I guess.
and no I didn't test all of them, but I did test the ones I mentioned here at least.

Defender has also gotten much better and if you keep smartscreen enabled and amsi, you should be fine for most obvious threats.

Just to show you how bad McAfee is, it does not even like to be uninstalled using normal methods in Windows. You have to use a special "tool" to fully clean it from your system.

MacAfee is ♥♥♥♥ just uninstall it. You wont need it if you dont click stupid links and download sketchy stuff. MacAfee wont even protect you well. Nowadays you dont need an antivirus. Windows defender is good enough but you still cant click on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and download a malware from "FREE BOBUX" sites.
