ERROR: Icon Upload for Group Chat

Get this error since ca. mid 2021, before it worked fine.

No, my problem is not fixed.

So you cannot upload a "group icon?" Is your icon the correct size, the limits on group icons are different and perhaps confusing, it needs to be 182x182 and has to be a jpeg, bmp or png AFAIK, gifs are not allowed.

Same error for 182x182, no matter if jpg or png.

Are you using a browser or that borked excuse for a native client to upload the group icon?

Hint: upload the icon as a general "artwork", if that works, you have eliminated one unknown.

Same error for Client and Browser. Upload as Artwork works fine.

Okay. Can, you add the file as artwork and link it here? I have a test group, I can see if it uploads for me. Or at least see how to fix the image file. Does it have transparency, what colour depth and format is it?

until you uplaod te icon someplace so that people can help you we cannot guess what is wrong with your file. most upload issues are caused by incorrect image size or bit depth problems. sorry if English is not your usual communication language, but this is the quickest way to get help uplaod the image as artwork so we can try to help

make a real group, upload group avatar through group page, if the image is you care about. group-less group chat "icon" fileupload is not likely to get fixed atm.

Oh, this is for a "chat" that is not for a hub or a group. That might be broken, but easy enough to make a group instead, this platform is a bit bodged perhaps. Ha ha.
