Steam Library - Dedicated Servers for Non-Owned Games
I own enough games that the addition of all this content in my library is extremely annoying. I cannot figure out a way to filter out all these dedicated servers from showing up in my library for games I don't even own/play. Not to mention all the other F2P games showing up.

Please STEAM, introduce an opt-in option or filter option to remove the visibility of this clutter from our library. I just want to be able to see the games I've opted to buy/own show up in my library because obviously those are the things I'm interested in playing.

Remove F2P/Demos that are able to be removed here...

https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/

Other method, find game here... https://help.steampowered.com/en/

Click on game, choose "I want to permanently remove..."

You can still hide them in the hidden category if you wish.

Don't forget you can control+click or shift+click them all and then right click one and hide them all.

Thanks for the tips. I didn't have tools checked, so that wasn't it.

I resolved it by creating a new category called "Dedicated Servers" then doing a search of my game library for that name, selecting all and adding them to the related category. Minimize the category and now I have a list without the clutter, other than random games I don't own but those aren't many or as distracting.

Thanks again. Hopefully this'll get resolved in a future update or an option will be added to more easily filter such things.

Thanks! That god rid of them for me. Still don't understand why theyre in my list considering they're for games I wouldn't every buy, but thanks for the tip. No more annoying servers in my list!

Yeah, why are they even showing up in the first place? Is it just a bug they're not addressing or something?

My concern is, I recently started using NZXTCAM to monitor my computer temps and such, it also tells you what games and how long you played them. It says that i played in a few sessions of a Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. i don't have, nor do i play this game. so how is this happening. is it a bug, is someone hacking or is steam using my computer in some way without my knowing it? i sent a message to steam support, not heard back so idk what's going on.

Maybe it has the same process name as another game or program and is getting it confused?

Uncheck the Tools filter in the Games drop down menu above the game list on the left.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
