as for the Epic account, you need to talk to epic support about it.

Not sure if it will work as I never tried, nor do I have an epic account, but you could always give it a try.
You may need to contact Epic about the issue as they have to associate it on their end. They are the ones using the Steam API after all.

It is supposed to be the same process as for a Steam account. Seems to be similar to the process I quoted above.
