Enabling Game Sound in Background
I've been searching for a while now and gave UP. I'm on windows 10 and Steam trying to find out how to get sound from Steam games while they're tabbed out, but I haven't found anything save for some kinda code that I have no idea on how to use, I'm not very steam or computer-savvy so I'd really like some help on this!

Specifically Dragonball Xenoverse and the upcoming DBX-2.

Look in the game forum. Windows doesn't mute games in background, the game does that itself.

Looking in the forums is looking for a needle in a haystack at this point, all I find are years old bugs about sound not being there at all.

this. it is the way the game is programmed, I doubt if you'll be able to change it.

Some games have a setting for that.

Welp! Looked through everything but it looks like ReBoot is right, the game does it itself and there's no setting to change it like Silicon Vampire said.

Anyhooh, thanks for taking your time to react, I appreciate it. PS, making a Saiyan in XV2.

Warframe has that setting in game. Options > Audio > Mute when running in Background.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
