CANNOT UNINSTALL INSIDER BECAUSE STEAM REMOVED IT.
Now in add or remove programs i have the insider program but when i choose to uninstall it it takes me to steam where its been removed from the library.

Right click on game then manage then uninstall.

the picture you show is windows uninstall, thats a matter how each person want it, and again upto steam in how they want to do it.

i will be more angry if i had to goto windows program and feature just to uninstall a game.
so im not so sure people want that.

things installed in steam should also be uninstalled in steam.

this is what im saying ive done it and its still in add or remove programs on windows. ive uninstalled the whole game because the insider edition was removed from the steam library itself once the flight ended.

I think that the problem then a Collections has sevreral titles in one name , i notice its was HALO all in one , and then you uninstall that all tiles and content will be uninstall , and thats a problem
then people complain over other title is removed, but ASK halo Support they are also in controll over uninstaller. cant be 100% sure but it do sounds like games devs issue with all in one.

its same then some want part of DLC removed in a collection, what if game is patched for a all in one , and dlc content aient there , then you might have crash issue or in game bug depend on how game devs did it

and why will you install all halo titles if you are done with 1 and 2, well gl ask game devs.
some uninstall are cleaver and other not, some can ask you want remove all, or keep some titles.

If it's uninstalled what does it matter if it's still in add/remove programs?

This would be in your Windows registry you have to remove manually to not appear in add and remove programs.

If you try to interact with it in Add or Remove Programs, does Windows not give you the option to "repair or remove", for example ?

Yes, sorry, as I thought that older versions of Windows then gave you the option to remove it from Add or Remove Programs at THAT point, since Windows would be unable to find the .exe of the game.

I don't have Windows 10 so was not sure if that was the case or maybe I am not remembering correctly.

Frakly, unless it causes other problems going forward I wouldn't worry about it. I have a few registry entries that appear for deleted programs in Windows Add/Remove Programs. I will get round to cleaning up at some point, but it doesn't noticeably affect anything.

How long ago did you install it ? You "could" try a Windows Restore Point, but I honestly agree with the good crunchyfrog on this one. I would just try to ignore it.

Well in that case, the best bet is to be introspective and change YOU. Simply because there are many things in life that will also trigger this sort of thing going forward and it will no go well.

Trust me on this one.

Though I get your point about keeping it tidy and that. I guess it's more of a case of being efficient with your time or picking your battles.
