Name keeps changing back

So I'm an avid steam player but also a minecraft player. I play bedwars and I met this guy called Allen_PVP who me and my friends memed the hell out of. The joke dies down, I want to change my name right. I change my name to Smooth Criminal, but it keeps changing back to Allen_PVP after a short span of time.

It's really annoying as it keeps happening. It's already about 5 times now? Can someone help?

I know. I can assure you, I changed it to smooth criminal countless times and it keeps changin back to allen_pvp.

Tuesday is maintenance day, so might be worth knowing.

Visit your profile, you click on the edit button, then you change your display name, then you click the save button, and that's all there is to it.

If you have someone else login to your account, I suggest you deauthorize all devices. Then change password.
