Reinstalling Windows without Losing Games?
Hey guys, ran into a problem where i would need to reinstall windows 10 unfortunately this will wipe out my Steam Client but the games are actually installed on a different HDD (E:). Is there a way to make the newly downloaded client recognize these pre-exsisting games? I don't really want to redownload all of them.

readd the library path via steam settings.

Just install Steam like always and in the client settings under "Download" at the top select " Steam Library folders" , create a "new" library and point the direction to the existing one with the files on (E:). Steam will scan the existing library and add all games from there.

or after install steam go to game you already have press install them choose to install it in the folder you already have in E then Done it will not re download
