Can I Refund then Rebuy then Refund
So I recently got GTA V on sale. Originally the game was having horrible FPS drops and was crashing. Now I want to rebuy after a friend told me how he fixed his. My question is if the same problems persist and I am still in the 2 hours/2 weeks guidelines will I be able to return again?

Sooner or later they'll stop doing refund for you as they'll see it as you abusing the system. So I wouldn't keep doing it.

This will only be my 2nd refund and i normally just dont refund. If i do end up refunding again do you think they will allow me to refund in the future?

Doing a refund here and there for diffrent games is not a problem, but doing it for the same game could be seen as an abuse if you keep doing it so I'd think hard about getting it again. I couldn't really say tho since I hardly refund games and def havn't refunded a game twice.

Probably just gonna play it safe and not get it again. Would much rather save the $30 and make it so I can refund games in the future. I did send an email to their support asking if it would be ok. Unless I get confirmation from them I’ll probally hold off.

You can refund the same game as often as you want. But be aware that play time is cumulative.
Meaning, if you played for 90 minutes the first time, then refunded and buy it again, you only have 30 minutes left before you are outside the refund time limit.

Apart from that there is no penatly buying and refunding the same game multiple times.

Ogami, if they see it as abuse they can stop giving refunds. Telling him he can do it over and over again is not wise.

Steam will warn you if you refund too much. Multiple times. Only if you still continue after those warnings will your refund rights be revoked.

This.

If you play an hours on one purchase, then an hour on a second, that counts as two hours of play time.

That is for Valve to decide. They won't revoke one's ability to refund just because they refuned the same game while with in the refund rules.

I fail to see how what the OP is talking about would be considered abuse.

There's a reason playtime is cumulative as that pretty well takes care of abusing it.

Ok. I have 30 min in my first play. If i rebuy and decide in another 30 min its not right for me, im good? If so thats perfect and I'll get the game later. Thanks for all the help!!
