For the record, game developers are free to run their forums how they please. That being said, nobody here can assist you with your ban. See How do I dispute a forum ban?

Seems a bit excessive but keep in mind that the moderators all have different interpretations of what is considered hijacking or trolling. Use the link provided to you to send a message to dispute the ban if your feel it was excessive. For sure, 1 month seems like too much.

i personally do not see an issue with the block of text quoted in your 1 month ban, it's a bit excessive. the above users are absolutely correct, they are free to do as they please since they own the discussions area.

yeah don't worry as someone who has learned his lesson in the ED steam forums after being banned 4 times. Just don't criticize these people. They should actually have a post in the forums rules stateing.. "Criticizing of any kind is absolutely not welcomed. Unless you are giving as praises and such just DO NOT SPEAK, or we will silence you!"

You'll either get used to it or you'll just not speak on these guys forums and use other outlets these guys can not control with a iron fist.

Be thankful you didn't get a perm ban, either apologise to the dev and see if they're will to re-consider or wait it out.

Seeing the posts that were deleted before the ban, it seems to have accumulated into the ban. It wasn't an instant ban over nothing.

Give the two previous ones as well, that most likely contributed to your one month. Next time the developer may decide on a permanent one, so I suggest rethinking how you post.

If you wish to discuss the ban with the banning moderator, I suggest replying to the ban message as discussing moderation is not allowed.

If you can't do so that way, then contact the game's developer.
