Appmanifest files all over my steamapps folder
I was checking my steam files and I noticed that there were many appmanifest files.
I don't know what to do.This problem never occurred before.
Here's a photo of my steamapps folder:https://imgur.com/gallery/RNlSBZI

Completely normal for these files to appear.

Deleting them will invalidate your game installs and cause Steam to mark them as not installed.

What's the issue?

Those are needed files.

I thought that I did something wrong because I've never seen or noticed those files.

They are needed, yes. They correspond to each owned game on your account.

They've always been there. Appmanifest files tell the Steam client what game are installed so Steam doesn't have to search every folder in Steamapps.

Maybe it's because I've recently started to reinstall many games on my steam library that I didn't noticed them at first.

Yeah, but why are there so many left over after I have uninstalled games? Steam needs to clean up its own files WAY better... Why do I have 200gb worth of games and steam is taking up 300+gb???? This is not right...
