Chat sticker? You've had them since the last winter sale. Pretty sure you would've known that you use them by opening the emote list when talking to friends.

its not an animated sticker like that. it is describe as the following, 'Common Sticker'. i don't know if that helps. i also double checked to see if i could send it via the steam messenger and it didn't work.

what do you define as "steam messenger"?
stickers work in chat. client chat and the standalone chat app.

the only stickers that I know of are chat stickers. the chat function of the main steam phone app wouldn't be able to use them if that's what you're referring to as "steam messenger". there's a steam chat app that has the ability to use them as well as the steam chat on the desktop.
