Who says that guy still has your items? He could have traded them for legit items already. Do you want those trades being reversed as well? And the trades after hat? And the trades after that?
See where i'm going? It's not as simple as reversing one trade, it could easily be half a dozen trades for just one item, exponentially more with each more trade involved.

That's why. Too much of a hassle and too many disgruntled players getting their trades reversed out of the blue.

Or they could simply roll your inventory back and essentially dupe the items. Which would be bad too as that would inflate the market with duped items.

Anyway, both won't happen as Rocket League does not use Steamworks for the inventory or trading. Valve can't see what happened.

Valve did everything they could, giving you back your account. And that's where their service ends.

Learn from your mistakes.
The people who make this argument never think about how they would feel if they bought an item off the market only to Valve remove it from their library because they unknowingly bought a stolen item and Valve is trying to restore items.

you signed into something that looked like Steam. that is called phishing and there is only one method to prevent it: you paying attention with basic internet security knowledge.

No, you simply made a mistake and you will have to learn from that and move on.
But also since i used a fake website and pretty much handed them my info now that i changed my password am i save?
Clear your browser history cache and also clear the devices you have previously used for Steam and be sure not to fall for it again. That can be cleared by going to your settings then Manage Steam Guard Security, last option down the bottom.

As for passwords, not only change your Steam password but also the password to the associated e-mail address.

And on top run a antivirus/malware scan.
