Incorrect file size in Control Panel?
Whenever I go into the programs section in the Control panel, all of my games are listed as being 6.86 GB despite not being that big.

My specs are:
Zotac GTX 1050
Pentium G4400
8GB of DDR3-1600 RAM
I'm on Windows 10.

Just ignore it; just look at the games in Steam regarding that.

Yeah, I know. It doesn't even affect the total space left on my HDD, I just wanted to see if anyone else has/had an issue like this or if there were a fix for it.

It's just something with Steam, but why would u look at Programs and Feature as a means of judging what amount of space things take up?

In my Programs and Features, Steam games don't display any size at all. Everything else does.

I don't. I just noticed it a few hours ago when I was uninstalling a program through the control panel.

The information in Programs and Features is mostly quite spurious, not just for Steam. Just ignore it. If you want to get a better idea of disk usage then get a program like WinDirStat.

Go to Steam Library, right click on the game and select properties from the menu, select the local file tab.

Now you can see the game file full size, or if you want to view the files, click on browse local file, this will bring you to where the game folder is, and you can view all the files.

Just look at the game folder properties on the local disk. Thats a more sure way.

But yea use WinDirStat if you want a better view/break-down of how data is spread out across your drive and what's hogging space if that is a concern.

Try running a disk check from the drive's/properties/tools section.

Why? There's no reason to suspect a problem with the disk. The OP doesn't actually have an issue.

Just tried that. Didn't fix the readout.

It's a shame you've only paid attention to one person so far, and it was that one...

Not sure why you decided to respond like that, considering I've responded to more than one person so far.

non-fixable non-issue.
that is just the way windows looks at the installation folder of the entry and that is the same for all stuff installed via Steam.

You would have to ask the OS maker to fix this that...
