Ignoring publishers/developers that don't have a developer page?
I know that you can ignore certain developers and all of their releases by going to their developer page and clicking the gear icon. However, what do I do for developers that don't have the developer page enabled like Treyarch? I've seen a similar thread asking the same thing from two years ago and I'm wondering if something has been put into place since then.

You can only ignore the games if they don't have a page.

Still? That is incredibly disappointing to hear.

Thank you.

You don't understand how it works, as your assumption is that a developer / publisher page means all their games are listed on that page, and that is not true.

a developer/publisher page (creator homepage), is a curated page of appids by the publisher / developer. It allows for adding single, partial or all the appids in their catalog to these pages, they can have multiple of creator homepages.

which basically means you are using the system for something not intended. it does not say ignore the publisher or developer or the appids.
they can dump that creator homepage that is built on top of a steam group, that can be changed to any other steam group of their choosing.

https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36135791/

as you can see by the URL, it indicates it acts as normal curators do.

So if it's not intended to ignore a developer or publisher and any of their releases they've put onto that page, what's the intended purpose then?

To advertise them and have us buy them, obviously ;)

it ignores their recommendations (their own appids they added to the creator homepage) on the store page, similarly as curators recommendations are being ignored for the appids they recommend, when you ignore the curators.
You do realise, you still see their (creator homepages) games in the store, right? or are you under the impression they vanish from the search?

but ignoring a publisher/developer/franchise page will exactly do that.
it works as same as the ignore game function, just for all products linked to the publisher/developer/franchise page.

if you ignore
https://store.steampowered.com/publisher/bethesda
every game listed on there will be marked as ignored in the search and can be hidden with the hide ignored games filter.

well that very well may be that ignoring the creator homepage adds the appids in that creator homepage to the users ignored apps.
so perhaps i was wrong there.
but i am undoubtedly right about that creator homepages are customizable to show single, partial or all appids in their catalogs, which is what the OP really wanted to know.
I have personally tested the creator homepage feature, just to be sure that i was able to split the appids into different creator homepages and looking into it, i can also confirm that each creator homepage did not show appids not added to it.

(I don't ignore appids, so perhaps my mistake actually was there and i spoke in haste.)

Bump. The shovelware factories obviously realise their produce is ♥♥♥♥ and therefore have 0 incentive to afford Steam users with the ability to ignore them.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
