How can I remove software I don't have?

Steam shows a bunch of items in my library that I have never owned, never downloaded, never used. How do I remove them? I just want things that I *have* to be in my library. Not random garbage like:

Biohazard benchmark tool

BlazeRush Dedicated Server

Brink Dedicated Server

Don't Starve Mod Tools

GTR Evolution Demo Dedicated Server

Proton 5.0

Sixense Midi Controller

Source SDK Base 2007

to answer your question: you don't remove it.

the max you can do is rightclick -> manage -> hide

Christ Steam... I thought not having volume slider on game trailers for years was the worst they could do.

Note you’re showing the TOOLS part of your library

Just hide the tools section

SteamVR is a tool he wants. We're in his other thread.

Right click, manage and hide.

You should be able to control+click all you want to hide before right clicking one.

Or shift click the 1st and last entry, control+click SteamVR and right click any highlighted tool then, hide.

This worked, now my hidden folder is full of garbage, but you gotta make do. *sigh*

This stuff was always in your library, it just was hidden by default in the old UI, thats all.
You could still access it by selecting the "Tools" tab in your library view.
