Go to "help" in the top of Steam.

Then system information. Right click in the new window, select all, then copy and paste all that here.

Top of the Steam UI on the left. See that "steam view friends games help >"? Click on the help bit

Well, the top of the Steam client is what I meant, but you posted what I needed to know, apparently.

Steam for Mac

the link is nice, but the problem is that it doesn't say how to fix steam when it says ""Platform error:bad module 'bin/friendsui',not loading"

Did you do a forum search there for that error ?

If it is a error you have seen on Steam, chances are, so has someone else. Therefore, the forum search would show those threads.

And you can look at them from that search for possible solutions.

The link was not to show you how to fix anything, directly. It was a link to a better forum.

EDIT....................

For example, I just did a quick search and got lots of hits :

I have also done that, but none of the discussions have a solution that will work for mac

So far, I saw just one but it might not help :

Have you tried to repair Steam ?

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3352-RYON-4107

Reinstall Steam

The Steam installer can be downloaded here: http://store.steampowered.com/about/ and reinstalled to the same location where it is already installed.

This may fix potential issues with Steam client and service files. Installing into same location will preserve all installed games.

WARNING! Uninstalling Steam through any other method will delete all game and userdata content.

Well, that shows what I know about a Mac then apparently. And that is one reason I tried to help by linking you the Mac forum.

Because most that post here are going to be Windows users. And that post is in a "Steam for Mac" thread, so I was just passing it along from my search result.
I don't think its possible, thx for trying tho
