Is there an easier survival game?
so i really like ark, im currently enjoying subsistence and i loved 7 days to die and the long dark and subnautica and farsky.

i really like survival games but i dont have a lot of time on my hands and it seems to me like alot of these games are designed for gamers who like a fairly intense challange.

like i said i dont have alot of time to devote to these games but i would really like to find a openworld survival like these games but a little more suited to the casual gamer.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! SURVIVAL FTW

Rust?

Does Rust have any kind of single player mode? ive watched alot of gameplay for rust and it seems like the other players are a massive threat, i neglected to mention im also not very skilled

I don't think so, but I would think that any MP games would lend itself to being pretty quick and not something you would have to continue on over and over like a single player game as you mentioned you don't have a lot of time.

I really don't know much about the game but thought I'd throw it out there.

Salt is a very laid-back game … unless you challenge a gang of pirates before you're ready!

And even more laid-back game that's mostly about exploration.
(Easy for other people, that is … I've manage to die by starving, freezing, falling, and mauling :P)

thanks for the champion suggestions! keep em coming!

i really like how salt looks adding that to my wishlist for sure

eidolon looks a little too story driven for me with no real survival or crafting focus

can you tell me a little more about the forrest? i was looking into it a long time ago but i thought it looked reallllly hard and really punishing for the player. please let me know if im totally wrong cause it looks reallllly cool.

played miasmata on a buddys computer found it to be like eidolon very story driven im looking for a closer to salt idea with complete freedom.

Fantastic suggestoins Mittenz. thanks alot looking forward to salt and maybe the forest.

Hey Yourtypicalpinoy i have played unturned before and im on the fence about it, i can never seem to accomplish anything and i feel like it might be more fun with other people? i always play alone, people online are so much better than me i usually dont last long, co op online however im down.

Hey TheDean I LOVE MINECRAFT but funny enough (sorry im so picky guys i just wanna find something perfect i know its out there) i find its a little bit too easy, and kinda bland but i play that on my xboxone anyway.

thanks guys so far ive added three games to my wishlist rust, salt, and the forest (maybe)
Keep them Comin!!

The Forest is terrifying the first time playing if you go in blind (like I did) … but through trial-and-error you figure out how to survive and push yourself farther with each playthrough.

Naturally, folk playing single-player tend to be a lot more cautious than playing co-op with buddies to watch your back.

There are also different modes in the start menu (unless it's been changed?) that let you to choose the agro-level of the cannibals.

Just want to add one more crafting/survival game (that I've added/removed from my wishlist a couple times … damn my growing backlog!)
