My things dont sell on the Steam Market?
two months ago I put my csgo skins on the market because i quit the game and wanted a few euros back to buy a cheap game. I did everything you have to do to list an item on the market(Put it to sale, accept on my email etc...). Now I have about 20 skins on my market for two months and not a single skin sold. I missed the whole damn steam summer sale and still nothing was sold. What have I done wrong?

Probably put the price too high.

People are simply not buying your items for whatever reason. Most likely too expensive if they aren't selling. You should check each item and see how much they are going for and the quantities already in the market along with people's buy orders.

If you've listed something for $50 let's say and the others are selling for $45 with 100+ listed at this price; yours wont sell at that price.

sounds legit, thanks
That's the problem with using the market, there are many users that use it and when you set a price there will be another user that ether sets it to the same price (then that item will sell before yours will) or ether set to a lower price (and that item will sell before yours too).

You have to keep checking prices manually if you are not using addons/scripts.

Also if you want a quick guaranteed sale; you're best off just undercutting the current lowest price of each item. Prices change frequently so you may have to relist items but in most cases they never increase especially when lots of users are undercutting one another which really drives prices down.
how can i set them another price?

Basically - empathy.

You need to take a long, hard look at yourself and view your auctions if you were buying them. Try to imagine what YOU would want to buy them atm, and whether they even interest you. If you can see any sort of reluctance, then there's your answer right there.

As you describe it as a "clear out" I would anticipate either you've priced them too high for the common market price, or they're just items that don't move. I'd guess a fair amount of the latter if you're clearing out.

Your best bet is to simply research as much as you can about current prices. And pro tip, if you can't find much in the way of current prices for some of your items, then that largely signals nobody wants them.

the price is wayy too high. If u wnat it to sell automatically i recomennd putting it a little bit below the minimum price.

same but my problem is i list them like 1 euro less and people wont buy
Same i go by what it's listed on the inventory page if it says 0.06 cents that is what i list it for and still no one buys my item which is a back ground from the summer sale.

Well, welcome to markets baby!

Just because you put something up for sale, does NOT mean it's going to sell. There are tons of people on Ebay that say the same.

You need to remember ONE thing determines a sale - what someone is willing to pay on a certain day at a certain time under certain conditions.

Yes, that is deliberately vague because NOBODY can say more than that. So, because of this, you can NEVER EVER expect to sell, but rather hope.

Hi, I have the same problem, I set price 15.5% lower that others and I don't know why, but no one wants to buy it even when purchase requests in that price.

The rare case when in 2025 the problem is different from the one in 2017.
