Delete old game data
I've a couple of games I'd like to play again but there is no way to do this unless you could delete the old game data. I've deleted old games and un-installed and re-installed the games but the old data stays there. Can anyone tell me how to do this? It would be much appreciated

The game's save data would therefore be stored on the cloud servers, so whenever you log in to Steam, it will stay and keep in sync with your progress.

The only way you can avoid the repeated syncing is by disabling the cloud sync via the game's properties menu

At this time, we don't really have that option of either resetting nor deleting the cloud data unfortunately.

Can you delete it, no.
That was the OP's question.

Note that most games that don't use Steam Cloud store game saves and the like in another folder, usually in your Documents folder (where it is varies by game)

In that case, all you have to do is delete the files in that folder. (Also uninstalling the game WON'T remove the saves, since they're located elsewhere)
