Tax Fraud Pro 11. des. 2016 kl. 17.37
Accidentally downloaded a .scr file but I didn't run it. Am I safe?
So around 10 minutes ago some guy approached me offering me to trade. We got into a conversation and I asked if I can have a look at his CSGO knife. He sends me a supposedly imgur link, and stupid me was so gullible I had not realized that the link he sent wasn't imgur but lMGUR (lower cased "L" and upper cased "MGUR"). As soon as I downloaded the file I immediately deleted it off my computer, placed it in the recycle bin, I didn't run the file, but is it possible I'm infected? Could use some help, thanks!

as long as you are dead sure you did not run the file, nothing happend.

Yeah I am dead sure I didn't run it. As soon as it started downloading I instantly went to my downloads folder and deleted the file, and perma deleted it off my recycle bin. Thanks for the help, I was kinda paranoid after that.
