recently, someone on steam came up to me and said that he wanted to trade with me but saw a tag that I am a scammer. But I've never scammed before and I contacted a guy from steam support that I needed to use $20 to see the data coming. I need solution/help

Think about it that way:
What does a scammer maintain that exposes him being a scammer?

Of course he will have "everything else".

But the pattern exposes them.

No one, NOT a single user needs to check anything. Especially to check something in exchange for money.

It is a SCAM.

the more trustworthy someone looks the more likely for them to scam you because they know you wont be able to tell

like , look at me , does anything about my profile look like a scammer ? i have alot of people writting positive comments , i have a high level , i have lots of games and more

i would still take a free gift from someone who ignored the whole "you only get what you see in the trade window" warnings if the person would insist on trading something for real money

he also said that in worst scenario, his company is going to file a case, or smth like that. can i just ignore that BS
