Need to merge old account with new account, both have same email
Years ago, I had a steam account that I had made, downloaded about 10 games, and completely forgot about. Fast forward to last year, I forgot about this account, and Steam allowed me to create a new account with the SAME email address, but they have different login/usernames AND different game libraries. If I log in to the steam website here, I can see 1 single purchase history that shows all purchases from BOTH accounts, but when I hit "View this game in Library" it goes to whatever Library I log in to.

I would like to merge these accounts so I can have all ~20 games in the same library, and either delete one of them, or just let it sit,

Logging out and into another account to switch games is a huge hassle.

Thanks!

you cannot merge account.

the best you can do is set up family share between the 2. not all games can be family shared

Would I be able to transfer my games from one account to the other? I REALLY dont want to have to juggle two accounts

Best you can do is family share the games from one account to the other. Keep in mind that not all game can be family shared.

I make it simple
1. You can't merge accounts.

2. You can't transfer games, they're bound to the account.

3. As suggested by Wolf, use family share this will allow you to play the game on the same account, without having to login to the other account. Keep in mind not all games can be family share, example such as Vac protected games, or games that Devs themselves choose to have their games excluded from this. You know if it's not family sharable by testing it out.

I suggest get a password book. Also that's kind of your own fault for making those two accounts.

I'll add 4. These rules apply to even you, OP, you're not any more special than the rest of us.

Stick around this forum. The amount of entitled whiners who think the rules don't apply to them is astounding.
