[BUG] Adding friends.

Hello. I've added 30 friends at Feb, 29. I can add 1-2 friends per day after that only and after that it shows the message about limit. The same problems have all Steam community. The problem appeared at Feb, 28.

P.S. I don't have VAC or any ban on my account.

Yea, i have the same problem as well. And i think it's rather a bug than a feature, cuz it works abosulutely unpredictably. I hope Valve are going to fix this asap becasue just imagine how uncomfortable that can be for traders and other users. You enjoyed a game with your teammates and you want to add them to your friendlist to play again? - you can't. You are a trader and you want to add a person to suggest him a profitable trade ? - you can't

Valve staff is not going to respond on the forums, especially a spam prevention change that you think is a "bug" in the suggestion forum.

Lol nope. Actually they're answering or at least checking it, because those "forums" and topics are sources of information about bugs, issues, imperfections in Steam so they know what to fix.

This is a very bad update, I can not add more than 5 friends with whom I played games, please increase the limit for adding to friends!

I agree that this update greatly restricts communication, I myself am not a fan of such a number of friends, but the fact that several of my friends felt this problem and informed me, suggests that this is not a particularly convenient innovation...

how about valve learns how to properly deal with a problem so the entire community doesn't have to be affected by the "solution"? after all what did Heizenberg do, that his experience of the social aspect of steam is now being handicapped?

shouldn't one question why valve isn't capable of dealing with a problem without retroactively punishing everyone?

You would think a multibillion dollar company, would be able to figure that much out but evidently not because valve clearly keeps adding layers upon layers thinking that it solves a problem when they are clearly just come back.

It takes no genius to figure out that these "scammers" / "bots" (people behind this), have no issues with creating multiple accounts as they clearly make some sort of profit from the trouble hence they would be able to fund creating "bot" accounts to get around this silly arbitrary limit.

friend collectors were never the issue, as valve has an upper limit of friends (2000) which valve encourage by leveling up your account.

but it is funny to think about that valves brilliant idea is to limit it further down because 30 a day did wonders, so perhaps 30 a week will do miracles, dare i even think of the next idea they get? 30 a month ? get read to be mind blown here, 30 a year? crazy.. i just thought of it.

I am a popular cs: go streamer. I want to play with my subscribers and friends, but now I can only add 2-3 people per day. I've never had any bans or other blocks on my account. What is the reason for this restriction? Because of this, I cannot fully interact with my audience. Please fix this.
