Cooldown on changing country.
A few days ago, i used a vpn to change country to India, because i wanted to see the prices. blablabla. And I did it like two times or so ( changing back and forth ) And I also changed the region/country in steam store preference to India.. I didn’t plan on buying games, (i know it sounds strange) but then i wanted to change back to my original country again, but now need to wait until February 3d to change back. And the question is, am I “safe” playing games on my account if I just don’t buy anything? And because my money converted into Indian currency will i still have the same amount when I change back to “my” currency? PLEASE REPLY. :O

Hard to say, I mean you broke the ToS by using VPN to wanting to buy games at a lower price, and if Support catch you, they can just lock your account really, due to abusing regional pricing, as well possible tax evasion.

But I didn’t want to buy anything? I just wanted to check prices etc

Use steamdb.info they display the game prices in all the currency.

If you didn't buy anything, I guess you should be fine, but I wouldn't be shock if you be asked to provide information like name, and address.

Does not matter you broken the STEAM TOS. Any use of a VPN to disguise your current location can lead to a termination of your account.
Actually changing Steam country store is even worse since that means you faked your address, name and such for the new country.
Because you have to provide that when changing store.

I didn’t buy anything at all, i was scared to do that lol. But i should be fine right? I learn from the mistake and thanks for the reply! :-)

Just change it back when the time comes, and you be fine, I don't believe they're going come after you, unless you were abusing the regional pricing. You may be asked to submit your information when changing country, so keep that in mind.

Yeh I didn’t buy anything. And if I get asked to fill in country etc then I should fill my REAL details right?

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6627-QSNM-5276#cooldown

btw, even trying to exploit cheaper currencies is worth an account suspension.
