Open Google Chrome and click on Settings button present at the end of the toolbar. ...
Click on "Show advanced settings...
Now scroll down a little and click on Languages > spell-checker pull the slider to left to turn off.
This is a global settings and aplies to all futures web pages you open in Chrome.
I know this already, the problem is with the Steam Client, not the chrome browser, even if you have it disabled on chrome it does not get disabled on Steam.
The released client does not have the spell check as of yet.

I don't see any more RAM being used now than before. Still exactly the same.
Eeps... So that's the next threat to come. Good to know in advance, though there is propably no way to stop this, except preventing client updates completely.
It appears to be a new feature but annoying!
Using latest Steam Client and it is up-to-date.

Actually i started to see it new with recent Steam Client. The client language and OS language is English but locale format is Turkish. For some reason Steam has set it to Turkish regardless client / OS language which is new to me. Annoying. Do we have to wait to remove it?
