Why do I need a VPN connection to run pubg?

Greetings.

This issue happend 3 months ago. The problem is, that most of the times I need a VPN
connection to start a pubg match; if I don't, the game either crashes or goes back to lobby.

This has been really annoying since it's affecting my ping & it goes up to 200 sometimes. I contacted PUBG support & thay said that the problem is with my PC & it doesn't have the minimum requirments but that didn't convince me since I know people with POWERFUL computers are having the same problem.

Do you have any idea why is this happening? Any solution to solve the problem?

If i remember right PUBG was banned in China and most of the playerbase is Chinese, so they added an in-game VPN. Even though it is not allowed according to Steam's ToS.

I'm from Iran. I've come to understand that some people from Turkey are having the same problem. Can you tell me more about the in-game VPN?

it does not have one, dunno where the tinface got the idea from.

I don't think that my government has anything to do with this. You see, when I say that the game crashes, it actually shows me a part of the selected map and then after +1 minutes, it comes back to lobby. Also, sometimes I'm able to play WITHOUT the VPN connection. Any new thought?

By the way, we are working on that revolution thing...

The problem isn't the VPN then. Ask in the game forum anyway as your problem is with a specific game.

in Iran u might aswell play with real guns. Here in Europe we cant do that so easily

I guess making the VPN region only is not an option, so they have to have the VPN on every country.
