Salien cosmetic items not dropping on level up

I get a message from the game when I level up, saying to check my inventory for a cosmetic item, but I am not getting them since around level 4 or 5 and I am currently level 20.

Just to be sure before my last level up I traded all my cosmetic items to another account (apart from 4 spring cleaning related items that cant be traded), so when I levelled up I could easily check if I actually got anything, in case it was just the notification not showing up.

From what I can guess at, I think this started happening after some cosmetic items were traded over to my account, as that account was still getting items on level up, until I traded all my items back to it for testing, and now that one is not getting any on level up either.

Is there any way to get this resolved?

Now then, for my own "edification" and considering the fact that these items are only 3 cents on the market, are you bothered by this lack of item drop because of the whole principle of the thing, like me, or am I wrong? :P

Heh, well it was never about selling items. I'm not selling any of the cards either (apart from foils), just making sets with them. I guess it's mainly the principle of it, and wanting to get a bunch of items to play around in the cosmetic editor part of the game ;)

So after trading items back to the original accounts (as far as I could tell, as I had a duplicate for one of them), my game level went up to 25 and I didnt get a drop. Also on my other account, i levelled up to 24 and then 25 and didnt get a drop either time.

Since 25 is max level I can't level up any more to see if that triggers missing drops to finally arrive. I have no idea if this is an issue Valve is aware of, or going to fix.

Well I'm not the betting man I used to be...

However, that having been said, considering the fact that Valve already knows just how many people are idling the game, I'd bet my money on the fact that they are fully aware of this "issue" (the quotation marks are present because it might not be an issue so much as maybe a script Valve made for us idlers to not receive anything anymore?) and are not going to do anything about it because technically we're cheaters. :D

I'm fairly sure Valve aren't shadow banning people for scripting :) Considering one of the valve devs is in the saliens discord, and in contact with one of the main script devs, and the nature of the way the game has been designed.

Also, any idea if you are supposed to get a cosmetic item each time you craft a badge? I'm sure a few of the cosmetics I have from early on are rewards when doing that, but I just crafted 3 badges and didn't get any cosmetic drops, just a background and summer sale emoticon each time.

given all faqs and explanations Valve provided, you are not supposed to get anything else then a background and emoti for crafting the sale badge ... but i've got cosmetics for it, completely random.

Same here. Got some items for the first 2 badges I crafted.
