why is this happening? web and steam client both are giving same error.

Now why would that happen? i've been on this network for 1 year and this is the first time i'm facing this..

Searched for 30 mins on google, steam community, reddit and still no solution... i tried vpn and cellular data and steam loaded perfectly... looks like i'm gonna have to contact my isp

it started working here again, without doing anything on my end
Before you contact your ISP, try a router reset (disconnecting power for a few seconds)
Some ISP's switch IP after this, maybe that fixes it on your end too

possibly dns error with their loadbalancer and cdn services.
"wait" it out or flush your dns cache[support.opendns.com] and use alternative dns servers. restart device and router.

i contacted my isp today and now its fixed. you should let your isp know too if you are still having problems

try logging to your account with cellular data.
