Question reguarding Huniepop and related
So I have been following the recent stories regarding Huniepop and the.... Ahem "hentait***y apocalypse" (gods I can't believe they used that term) and as I have been following it one question did rise to the front of my mind...
If Huniepop and other related adult only pornographic games are removed from the steam market, what will steam be doing about refunding all of the people whom have bought these games and will now need to be refunded?
For point of reference; I am not sure about other countries but in the United States we have this, really quite wonderful, constitutional law that says you have an unaliable right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and (and this is the important part) no one can take your life, liberty, or property, without equal and just compensation.

Now I know you can make the argument that steam is not a someone because they are a company but for all legal purposes, in America steam is counted as an individual in any case involving taxes or issues that can be brought to court. So, for those who may have lost track of my point at home, when this game comes off the steam market, 1) will steam be taking licensing rights to play it from consumers in America? 2) If so will steam be providing refunds to all of these consumers? And finally 3) If refunds are provided for all adult games refunded to American consumers, is steam going to be ok taking that hit?

I'm sure many of you following along at home understand the full implications of this undertaking and for those who didn't follow along...

You need to refund Americans for any removal or property, rights, or services. Adult games fall into that, will steam take them away? Will they give refunds or risk the legal battle?

the removal is from the store, not from your account. that was never up for consideration. existing customers would be unaffected.

also "was", Valve backpaddled one day after they dropped this email to the devs. there is currently no game on the shot-off list because of this.

You will still own the game on your account.

Really? That's interesting, well thank you for that answer.

Removed games are still on your account, downloadable and playable unless the devs shut down service for their game, like in multiplayer only games.
