PS4 Controller Keeps Disconnecting
Not sure if this is happening with anyone else, but for some reason my PS4 controller keeps disconnecting from my PC. I'm using a PS4 controller because it has smoother movement than the XBOX 360 style PC controller. I've followed every video I could and have my PS4C installed with support from steam. It was fine at first but now it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting at random. It doesn't seem to be a power issue because when I plug it back into my PS4 after several hours of gaming the power is still full (though I could be wrong). So if anyone else has this problem please let me know how to fix it. I'm not using any other controller support and am using Windows 10.

Try gaming in steam big picture mode and lemme know if the problem still persists

Went with your advice and started playing TF2 for a few hours. It still disconnected, though less frequently than it used to from what I could remember. So what happens when it 'disconnects' is that first the light on the controller goes from blue to orange and then goes blank. The controller still plays, but when it goes back to blue, there's a moment where it doesn't work and my character gets stuck in some action or is moving without me touching the controller. When it does go back to blue, there's also a small blue box that says something like "Using Configs for 'Username'". Is there any way to fix this?

Also it's definitely not a power issue, because when I used it on my PC it only had two bars of power from using it wirelessly on my PS4. But when I plugged it back in to check the battery life, it was full.
I have a couple of tips
I game sometimes with a PS4 controller, but it never disconnects as I use it in big picture mode and with a wired connection. This could be an option for you.

However, if you do not want to play with a wired connection, I recommend you download DS4. DS4 is the same as PS4C.

I am using a wired connection, using the cable with the PS4C, but it disconnects. Also, what is DS4?
DS4 is kind of like PS4C but many more people use DS4. Also DS4 allows you to customize your button layout.

But aren't the DS4 and PS4 Controllers the same thing? I checked and the DS4 is the controller used for PS4's.

It is not possible to download DS4 at the minute as the owner has exceeded their bandwidth limit.

Mine seems to work fine now a days but if I don't push a button for about 30 seconds it disconnects and I have to push the PS button to turn it back on. It's really annoying.

I've tried to download DS4 but my computer won't let me. After some time I managed to get one of these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J5WFPXX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This helped improve the connection to my computer, mostly because I lacked bluetooth apparently. I still experience some disconnection here and there. But it's usually when I have the controller connected and the wire loosens when I tug it to one side too far.

Basically, check the bluetooth on your computer to see if it's working properly.
