Got Hacked?
You are HACKED. I am playing with cheats on your account right now. You will get VAC ban in 10 minutes. Hope you will be fast enough to remove skins from this account hahaha

Also Changed my name to 76561198055508405
which is just my profile page number, in the scsreenshot i had already changed it back i changed it before checking if i got hacked

That alone pretty much says everything I was playing Depth and I got off to find out my name on steam was changed aswell as everything in the SS, I've changed my Password and Email associated. Anything else i should Do? Becuase like i dont want a VAC Ban For doing nothing, Because i Highly Doubt valve would Remove it if its given to me

According to that SS, none of the recently played games on your account support VAC. Secure your account as soon as possible and hope someone was just trying to troll you.

i just got the same message but i think it was a troll because i could see that he didnt really played on my account... I think that these hackers just wanted to spread panic in the community and send a message to valve this way...

So you dont need to deal with this in the future, you could change who can comment on your profile to friends only, that way you would know if someone has been on your account and changed something

dunno what the comment section privacy has to do with that someone else had access to OPs account.

and btw .. any browser addons installed for Steam? .. this could also be done by those.

FYI guys, once somebody else is on your account, you've already lost. Sure, you can secure it ASAP but if a VAC ban is incoming, it's incoming, nothing you can do.

Because if it was legit hacked, the person would have to change the setting to comment on the profile. If the comments are private then no random person can comment on the profile pretending they hacked you :rfacepalm:

And the "comment" is not in the comment field but the infobox at the top of the profile, something you would have known if you had looked at the picture.

lol OP is in family share mode..you need to use steam guard to share your steam account so something is fishy about this whole siutation....and also see that edit box...it means that op is in edit profile and that he could have writtent that by himeself......im not saying he is doing this but...it sure looks like it since if his account was truly "hacked" i dont think he would have gotten it back unless he had steam guard

I am having the same issue, I am mainly annoyed because all of my comments were removed when this happened. I checked my email and there isn't any new logins that aren't from where I live and my phone with steam authenticator was off while this happened.
My account isn't in family share mode and never has been, soon to be a 10yr old account

lol OP is in family share mode
that is family view and the parental feature of steam and has nothing to do with family share.
there is zero indication on the screen that OP uses any form of family share.

...and the edit profile button is there always when you visit your own profile.

did we had some gammy ray bursts recently and some people didn't have their sun glasses on?!

i guess i ask some questions if the sentence above was not enough.

@"hacked" people:
do you also used a webbrowser to do stuff on Steam?
if yes, are there any addons you have installed that extend the functionality of Steam?

editing the profile description requires access to your account in some way and since it doesn't seem that the account was really accessed with a Steam client, because of how OP described the situation, this could be a browser addon owner that got overtaken and the addon updated with code that simply does this.

you have to find the one thing you have in common.

Someone is on your account after you leaked login and code in a fake.
They try to make you do a panic trade which they will use to trick you.

They have access to all your chats.

Save account and dont trade before that.
