144hz monitor and only hdmi laptop
hi everyone, i have a huge problem today, i just bought a ASUS VG248qe 144hz 1ms but i forgot to check for the wires and stuff. So i read that i needed an HDMI to displayport active adapter that support 120hz for 1080p but i can't find one, can someone help me out please ?

I am playing on an ASUS fx503 with only hdmi output.
The monitor has Displayport, DVI and hdmi. I'm locked to 60hz at the moment.

Even if you find one you may be locked to 60hz anyway if that's all the Hdmi port on the laptop can output. So before you buy what might not work or be expensive check your laptop specs, contact their support if needed to be sure it can output more than 60hz

hdmi 2.0 supports up to 240hz @ 1080, which the laptops hdmi port has.

you have to try adapters and/or check user questions of products @ amazon or something.
