Is this website giving away steam games legit?
One of my friends shared a website that is giving away free games, and it seems pretty sketchy. It's using the usual sign in thru steam verification, but i can't help but think it's just gonna steal my account. Can anyone vouch for it? The site is REMOVED

Well that's why i'm asking. Steam verification exists to keep people from getting scammed. But it's usually autofilled with my info but it's not when using it on this site, so it seems fake.

A Google search (and common sense) says: No.

Is this from a *real life* or random-internet-person friend?

Someone on my friends list who i had a good time with for a brief period, added as a friend, and haven't talked to in the years since that day. Pretty much like everyone else on my friends list.

Block and delete them, sounds like that account has been highjacked.

I’d be suspicious of one of those type of friends messaging you out of the blue after years of silence.

Well if anyone wants to experiment with that site by trying to get a key with a fake account, feel free to send it my way if it works.

Are you even listening to what people told you?

It is a scam site, designed to phish login details and hijack accounts.

No need to waste time for that. It's a scam.
Website created yesterday. "Steam login" opens to new window.

I said fake account tho. Maybe it's giving out actual keys regardless. I'm just curious to see what would happen.

Why it would give actual keys? If it's designed to hijack user accounts with this scam?

To further prove it's legit to attract more people to scam. It only takes one stolen credit card to get a ton of game keys

That wouldn't make any sense at all and if you believe that, congratulations you fell for their bait.
